A student may be excused from compulsory attendance at a public school when written evidence (Parent’s/Guardian’s Guide to Homeschool and the State of Nevada Notice of Intent to Homeschool form) is provided to the Clark County School District (District) that a student will receive equivalent instruction. Upon receipt of the Parent’s/Guardian’s Guide to Homeschool and the State of Nevada Notice of Intent to Homeschool form and the student's educational plan, the District will provide a receipt to the student's parent/guardian.

For more information about Nevada homeschool law, refer to Nevada Revised Statues NRS 392.070.
