External Credit: External credits are credits earned beyond the regular school day. Students currently enrolled in a Clark County School District high school may earn a maximum of six external credits towards graduation. No more than three external credits in English, math, science, and social studies may be applied toward graduation. External credit cannot be granted without prior approval and completion of the appropriate application. Please contact your high school counselor for more information.

Concurrent Credit: Concurrent credits are credits a student earns from another Clark County School District sponsored school while still attending his/her home school. Students may earn extra credit within the home school, or earn extra credits by enrolling in another program/school within the district.

Full-Time Credit Retrieval Programs: Full-Time alternative school settings are available in the district. For additional information, please contact the Education Services Division.
