FMLA/LOA Questions
The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) allows eligible employees to take up to 12 weeks of job-protected leave for qualifying family and medical reasons. In certain cases, employees may take up to 26 weeks of leave to care for a covered servicemember who has a serious injury or illness sustained while on active duty. To utilize paid leave, the leave reason must meet the criteria outlined in your specific negotiated agreement.

Leave of Absence (LOA)
All Clark County School District (CCSD) employees must meet specific requirements to be granted a leave of absence. The typical duration for a leave of absence is one year, unless otherwise specified in the relevant regulations.
