SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Students and Families,

The Board of School Trustees and I are thrilled to welcome you and your children to the Clark County School District (CCSD) for another exciting year of learning!

One of my biggest goals as your Superintendent is to ensure all of our students see our schools as supportive, safe places where learning is challenging and joyful. This is the first year of the implementation of our new five-year strategic plan, The Destination District. We will accelerate student achievement by focusing on three priorities:

  • Academic Excellence
  • Career-Connected Learning and Durable Skills
  • Safe and Supportive Schools

Our goals are ambitious, but we know that our educators and students continue to rise to the occasion. We are adding many innovative and engaging programs for students across our school district, including after-school activities and expanding middle school sports to increase connections on our campus. This will help CCSD continue to increase academic performance at every grade level, see more students graduate with the skills needed to succeed in any career they choose, and ensure every student feels seen and safe in our schools.

To our families: Your partnership is essential. The support you provide at home, your presence in schools and events, and your love for your child’s education make a meaningful difference for your children. Thank you for working as our partners in education.

We look forward to seeing how your child learns and grows this year!

With deep gratitude,

Jhone Ebert

Clark County School District

WHAT'S NEW THIS SCHOOL YEAR

Registration

Registration began April 20, 2026

Classes begin August 10, 2026

Parents/Guardians must register all new and returning students to the Clark County School District. Registration occurs through CCSD’s online registration system. Parents/Guardians of currently enrolled students may complete online registration using their Campus Parent account. New families to CCSD may register online at ccsd.net/enroll or visit their zoned school. After completing the online registration, parents/guardians must bring the required documents to their child’s zoned school to complete the registration process. Parents/Guardians should contact their zoned school for questions regarding registration and their Campus Parent account.

To find out which school your child should attend, visit ccsd.net/zoning or call the District’s Zoning Office at 702-799-6430.

Transportation

The Clark County School District provides transportation for general education students who reside two or more miles from their zoned school. Exceptions may apply to students.

Parents/Guardians can obtain information on transportation by visiting the Transportation website at transportation.ccsd.net, including verifying transportation eligibility for their child(ren) and accessing bus stop information. Information can be accessed by scrolling down the page and clicking on "Check your child's eligibility."

Bus stop locations for students attending a Magnet School are at designated, centralized locations throughout the District.

Information can also be obtained by downloading the Onboard bus tracking app, accessing Campus Parent approximately two weeks prior to the start of each school year, or calling 702-799-8100. Information regarding Onboard can also be found on the Transportation website.

In accordance with District Regulation 3531: “The ultimate responsibility for safe student passage to and from school/pickup points rests with the parent or legal guardian.”

Food

For the 2026–2027 school year, breakfast and lunch are free for all students because the Clark County School District participates in the Community Eligibility Provision of the federal Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.

The Food Service website, ccsd.net/foodservice, provides CCSD's nutrition policy as well as the approved snack and beverage list. The site also links to the digital platform where the school menus and nutrition details can be found: menu.ccsd.net.

Visit myschoolbucks.com to add money to a student’s meal account for á la carte purchases and view what items your child has purchased. Anyone who needs assistance or has questions may call 1-800-819-7556 or email myschoolmeals@nv.ccsd.net.

Official CCSD Communications

If a situation occurs on a school campus that necessitates notifying families, we want to assure parents and guardians that all official communications will be delivered directly from the Clark County School District (CCSD).
