The Clark County School District Police Department regards the investigation of all complaints as important to its overall mission. If you feel that you have a complaint against an employee of the Clark County School District Police Department, please contact the Department directly. The Internal Affairs Bureau will make every effort to ensure that the information provided to us is held in the strictest confidence.

CCSDPD will accept any form of complaint. Each complaint is taken very seriously and will always be fairly and impartially investigated. It is impossible to put a time limit on any investigation, as the seriousness of the allegations vary, but be assured that every effort will be made to update specific complainants about specific cases.

As a reminder, this form is for complaints against school district police officers.  If you have a concern regarding a school district employee, please contact the appropriate site administrator.

The Internal Affairs Bureau can be reached anytime between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday at (702) 799-7830.

CCSDPD Complaint Form

Police records are available to the public Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and Thursdays, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Records can be obtained at the Clark County School District Police Department, located at 120 Corporate Park Drive, Henderson, NV 89074.

Individuals requesting records will be notified by the Records Unit regarding the availability of their report. A valid government-issued photo ID is required when retrieving records in person.

Please Note:
Information involving juveniles is protected by law. If you are identified as a victim in an incident or crime report, you are entitled to receive a copy once the investigation has been completed. The Records Unit will process the necessary documentation and contact the requester once a determination has been made regarding the release of the report.

In accordance with department policy, only individuals named in a report—or their legal representatives—may be eligible to receive a copy. Witnesses are only permitted access to a copy of their own written statement.

Yes, the CCSD School Police officers are required to complete a Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) academy to become certified police officers.

Yes, as a sworn police officer for the State of Nevada we have the authority to make arrests and issue traffic citations.

Yes, our primary jurisdiction is School District property, but as first responders we have a responsibility to respond to imminent incidents and take the appropriate action.

Your local police agency will take the initial report and investigate the crime. However, information involving students should be forwarded to School Police and the site administrator. This information is crucial for the safety of our students and staff.
