Community Resources for Families

Per the United States and Nevada Constitutions, Nevada’s children are entitled to a free and appropriate education, regardless of their immigration status. The Clark County School District (CCSD) does not collect or verify students’ immigration status and is not responsible for enforcing federal immigration law. CCSD does everything we can to keep students safe on our campuses. We have protocols in place in case any outside law enforcement agency comes to our campuses or requests information about students or families.

The Clark County School District does not offer legal advice or services to families. The following resources are offered as tools and resources to our community.

Family Preparedness Plans

Any family can encounter unexpected emergencies. Having a Family Preparedness Plan helps ensure your children are cared for and remain stable during emergencies by identified, trusted caregivers and emergency contacts.
