DonorsChoose Grant Program Available for CCSD Educators

The Nevada Department of Education has announced that the DonorsChoose Grant Program has returned for educators seeking to fund classroom projects. The State of Nevada is supporting qualifying projects.  

How to qualify for the Nevada State Funds:

• Teach Prek-12 at a Nevada public school
• Create a new project on or after 7am PDT (10am EDT) on September 1, 2026
• Add the campaign code NEVADA to your project by clicking “Apply a campaign code” on the HI page of your project draft.
• Request resources to further accelerate your students’ academic learning and development.
• In your project essay, focus on how the resources you're requesting will elevate your students' learning experiences. Share the impact these materials will have on their academic growth.
  • If you’re requesting instructional materials, describe how they align with Nevada Academic Content Standards. 
• Request under $800 for your total project goal, including taxes, shipping, fees, and the suggested donation to support DonorsChoose. Projects with a total project goal higher than $800 will not qualify.

If the project meets the criteria listed, the one-time donation will appear once it is approved and live on the site.
