Celebrating the Class of 2026

Dear CCSD Community,
The Clark County School District (CCSD) has officially wrapped up graduation season! More than 20,000 CCSD seniors recently donned their caps and gowns, accepted their high school diplomas, and took their first steps into the future.
We could not be prouder of this resilient, talented group of young people. Many of their inspiring journeys are featured in our Star Graduate profiles. I encourage you to read through these incredible stories of achievement, perseverance, and leadership.
While we shine a spotlight on our seniors, this is also a moment to celebrate the collective hard work of all 288,000 students and 44,000 employees. Thanks to their dedication, the 2025-2026 school year was defined by significant growth, including:
- Increased academic performance in every subject and every grade level on the Nevada Report Card.
- A 5.1% increase in CCSD’s graduation rate for the Class of 2025.
- 98% of CCSD classrooms were staffed with a licensed teacher on the very first day of school.
- A measurable increase in students earning college credits and workforce certifications.
This year was also defined by collaboration. More than 50,000 community members, including thousands of our own students, weighed in to co-design a bold vision for our future: The Destination District Strategic Plan.
One of the most ambitious goals in our new five-year plan is ensuring that every student graduates with a "marketable asset.” That could be college credit, a portfolio demonstrating a student’s durable skills such as problem solving, or an industry-recognized credential. This is an achievement that would put CCSD on the national map. It’s also the best thing we can do for our students and our local economy. We will be sharing more in the coming months about how you can partner with us to reach this goal for our kids and our community.
Together, we are better preparing our students for success. We are also changing the story and the narrative about what is possible in our school district.
Please join me in celebrating and congratulating the CCSD Class of 2026!
Warm regards,
Jhone Ebert
