CCSD Welcomes More Than 400 Educators at 2026 New Teacher Kickoff

The Clark County School District (CCSD) welcomed more than 400 new educators during the New Teacher Kickoff event in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year.

The educators received a warm welcome from CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert during the event at West Career and Technical Academy. Trustees Irene Bustamante Adams, Lydia Dominguez and Adam Johnson were also in attendance.

Educators also received information about CCSD's New Teacher Pathway, which provides two years of induction, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities for beginning and experienced educators who are new to the District.

CCSD is excited to bring new teachers into the school district.
