CCSD Magnet and Open Enrollment Programs Accepting Late Applications

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is now accepting late applications for available Open Enrollment and Magnet seats.

The application window opened on Monday, March 23, 2026, and allows Clark County families another opportunity to explore school choice options inside CCSD. Seats are limited and may fill quickly, so families are urged to apply early.

CCSD offers families a number of school choice options to discover opportunities that inspire learning and growth.

• Open Enrollment (formerly Change of School Assignment) - A process that gives families the opportunity to apply for their child to attend a school outside their assigned attendance zone, offering families greater flexibility to find the right fit for their child’s learning needs.
  • Available seats are determined based on each school's capacity.
    • A list of school eligibility for open enrollment is available by clicking here.
    • Schools not on the lists do not have seats available.
  • Transportation will not be provided to students who attend a school through Open Enrollment in the 2026-27 school year.
  • Application deadline is Friday, August 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

• Magnet Programs - offer specialized programs that ignite students’ passions and strengths. These schools challenge students to think creatively and solve problems analytically through innovative themes and unique teaching methods ranging from International Baccalaureate to performing and creative arts to STEM to leadership.
  • Transportation is provided for students living within designated zones for each magnet program.

• Central Technical Training Academy - Focuses on career pathway training through CTE coursework, credentialing, and work-based learning opportunities.
  • Accepting applications from incoming 11th & 12th grade students.
