CCSD Highlights Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 4-10

It’s Fire Prevention Week! Celebrated from October 4 through October 10, Fire Prevention Week emphasizes the importance of educating children, adults, and teachers on fire prevention and safety.

CCSD offers students Fire Science Programs at Bonanza High School, Basic Academy of International Studies, and Veterans Tribute Career and Technical Academy that prepare them for careers in firefighting.

Students have the opportunity to work with professional equipment, master the principles of fire protection and chemistry, learn prevention techniques, and more.
