32 Students Awarded National Merit Scholarships

32 Clark County School District (CCSD) seniors have been selected as National Merit Scholarship Winners through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Students were selected through multiple categories, including the Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship, the National Merit $2,500 Scholarship Winners, and the College-Sponsored Merit Scholarship Winners.
“These 32 students are true examples of the academic excellence that is one of the pillars of the Destination District strategic plan,” CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebert said. “We want to congratulate them, along with the educators, families, and mentors who helped them through their journey. Earning this distinction required significant dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance. Congratulations!"
One CCSD student was selected through the Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship program, which was financed by approximately about 115 corporations, company foundations, and other business organizations.
