About

Established in 1956, the Clark County School District (CCSD) is the number one choice for families and students. As the nation’s fifth-largest school district, we educate 289,000 students – offering a variety of nationally recognized programs, including Magnet Schools, Career and Technical Academies, and Advanced Placement programs. CCSD educates 64 percent of the students in Nevada and works closely with community partners and business leaders to educate students to compete in a global economy.

About Clark County School District

Our Mission

All students progress in school and graduate prepared to succeed and contribute in a diverse global society.

Operation: Destination District

CCSD is at a pivotal moment for students, families, staff members, and our entire community as we work to transform our schools to meet the needs of today’s students and workforce.

Superintendent Ebert’s 100-Day plan made strides in improving CCSD’s climate and culture. We’re building on increased student achievement with our focus on the “Core Four” academic priorities.

Up next

We are co-designing a strategic plan to set goals and allocate resources, a Facilities Master Plan to ensure every student has access to an up-to-date school with the technology and programming they need to succeed, and an efficiency study to ensure every taxpayer dollar is maximized.
