    Librarian Lyn Wren

Students who use their school libraries are more likely to use public libraries! If you attend Watson, your main public library is the Aliante Branch of the North Las Vegas Library. In the heart of the southern Aliante neighborhood, it is located at 2400 Deer Springs Way. It is next to the dinosaur park and lake. You can call the library at 839-2980. Say 'howdy' to Librarian Lyn Wren, a friend of our school.

Las Vegas West LibraryThere is also the main branch of the North Las Vegas Library at 2300 Civic Center Drive (633-1070). While "the Clark County/Las Vegas Library District" is separate from "the North Las Vegas Library District," you can check books out of any district as a North Las Vegas resident. The closest Las Vegas library is the West Las Vegas Library at 951 W. Lake Mead Boulevard (507-3980). While you can find the exact book you want in the Clark County/Las Vegas Library District by searching their online catalog, you can also search North Las Vegas Public Library's online catalog.

These libraries provide many services to children such as children’s programs and story times. In addition, you can check out video and audio cassettes (music and stories). You can even use computers set up for just children and teens with Internet access, word processing, encyclopedias, spreadsheets, typing programs and math skills tests.
