Our mission is to rapidly develop, implement and sustain a cutting edge educational institution that enables our students to accelerate their academic progression while simultaneously developing the leadership skills necessary to compete at the highest levels in the 21st century.

VVES offers a variety of educational opportunities and training for students that challenges bigotry and promotes a prejudice-free community. Students are taught to appreciate and value differences. VVES is a No Place for Hate School and as such implements a variety of activities throughout the year that promote a tolerant, caring school climate for all students.

Parents regularly contribute to the promotion and implementation of a variety of school activities and programs. They provide hours of service, support and expertise. A dynamic PTO generates and support school wide activities.

Our staff provides after-school programs that engage students in activities that give rise to building bonds with peers and staff and allows for the development of their talents. A vocal, instrumental and dance group (VIP) and Drama Club offers many opportunities for students to increase their performance skills. Students learn to be environmentally responsible through participation in the Student Council led activities of recycling paper and plastic bags. They also give back to the community through food drives and other humanitarian efforts.
