Due Every Friday
Every Friday students in room 43 have several items due. First, their homework packet is due. Second, their reading logs must be filled out and signed in Friday's box. Last, their weekly behavior card must be signed - this is stapled to the agenda each Thursday.

Spelling
spelling activities
Each night, your son/daughter will study their weekly spelling list by choosing an activity listed on the spelling worksheet. All activities must be turned in Friday. If an activity is completed and there is no work to turn in, then there MUST be a parent's signature.
Math Assignments
Each night, your son/daughter will complete one page of math review. If at any time throughout the year your child is struggling with a concept and can not finish their homework in an hour or less - PLEASE draw a line where your child finished, initial the homework, and I will know that your child did the best they could. I will meet with your child to discuss the homework and reintroduce the concept.

Reading Logs
Each night, your son/daughter will read for at least 20 minutes. After reading, please record the total number of minutes read in their agendas each night. There is a specific place to record the number of minutes each day. On Thursday night, please be sure you have recorded all reading for week, place the total number of minutes in Friday's box, and have a parent sign in the box.. Any unsigned reading logs will count as incomplete/missing homework.
Weekly Reading Comprehension
Each week in your child's hoemwork packet will be a reading comprehension page. Your child will complete this page at some point during the week. This page can also count as the 20 minutes of reading for 1 NIGHT ONLY
