| Welcome! My name is Mrs. Doss and I am a fourth grade teacher at Thompson Elementary School. This is my eighth year of teaching and my third year at Thompson. Before Thompson I had the privilege of spending two years teaching on Nellis Air Force Base and three years at Fong Elementary. I have spent all eight years in fourth grade.
I received my Bachelors Degree and a Reading Endorsement from the University of Great Falls, MT. I also received my Masters Degree from Lesley University focusing on Technology in Education. As a teacher I think it is important to continue my own learning so I can bring new ideas to the classroom and my students.
I am originally from the northwest part of the U.S., Washington and Montana, so Las Vegas is a big change from what I was use to. I love Las Vegas and have enjoyed the many opportunities I have had over the last seven years.
I have been married for eight years. We have a very mellow 12 year old cat named Tubby. One of my hobbies is photography. During my summer break I was able to take a photograph class where I learned so much. I am very much an amateur, but it is fun to learn and play!
