Habitually Truant
A habitual truant is defined as a student who has been truant three or more times from school. Habitual truants may be referred to law enforcement and receive a citation. The consequences for habitual truancy may include prosecution by the district attorney's office, leading to:

A fine of $100.00 for the first referral to law enforcement.

A fine of $200.00 for the second referral to law enforcement.

Required community service.
