The students at Jo Mackey were given a wonderful
opportunity of making homemade holiday/get well cards for
many of our troops overseas.
These cards were presented
to three of our U.S. National Guard soldiers during a
school-wide assembly sponsored by our student council members
on December
10, 2007.
Our student council members also provided
care packages for our troops overseas that consisted of
games,
cards, and other essentials that they may need as they
support and protect our country.
