MISSION STATEMENT
We believe that it is our mission to develop socially responsible citizens who will graduate with skills and attitudes necessary to succeed in post-secondary education and in the work force.

Durango High School is located in the Southwest Region of the Clark County School District.

ACCREDITATION
Congratulations are in order for Durango High School for being regionally accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Durango High School received its accreditation by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools Commission on Schools at its annual meeting in Reno, Nevada.

Durango High School was first accredited with the Association in 1993. The school is also approved by its State Accreditation Committee for the academic year 2006/07.

Durango High School is one of nearly 1800 in the region and over 36,000 schools nationwide to maintain regional accreditation.

By being accredited, Durango High School is assured that other regionally accredited schools will recognize their students' credits, transcripts and diplomas.
