Who may attend?

1. Individuals who are 17 years or older*

2. Individuals who want a high school diploma

3. Individuals who want a GED

4. Individuals who need to learn English

5. Students from other high schools who want concurrent enrollment

* 17 year olds are invited to interview with a counselor before any decision is made concerning acceptance to Desert Rose. Do not withdraw from your zoned school before the interview.


How much does it cost to attend?

$15.00 per year for enrolled students

$100.00 plus $15.00 fee for concurrent students

Desert Rose Adult High School at 444 W. Brooks Ave. see map

Drop in registration (no appointments)

8 am to 7:30 pm Mon - Thurs and 8 am to 2 pm Fri - Bring your transcript.

What time are the classes?

Four class periods daily except Friday (only early classes):

Early Classes
Morning Late Morning
8:00 am -10:50 am 11:35 am-2:00 pm
Late Classes
Afternoon Evening
2:40 pm - 5:20 pm 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Do I have to take the proficiency tests in order to graduate from Desert Rose and get my diploma?

Yes, state laws requiring reading, math, and writing tests still apply.
