Del Webb MS logoWe are pleased to inform you that an on-line Academic Plan will be implemented with all sixth grade students during the 2008-2009 school year. Each sixth grade student will participate in developing an academic plan which sets forth specific educational goals that he/she intends to achieve before graduation from high school. Students and their parent(s) will work in consultation with their assigned school counselor to initially develop, then monitor and revise the plan yearly. The plan will be used as a guide to manage the student’s educational development and course selection. Parents may access the on-line academic plan at http://eduplan.ccsd.net for regular review and revision as necessary. Click here for more information about implementation of the on-line Academic Plan at Del Webb Middle School.

Del Webb Middle School is proud to announce that we will be holding our third annual Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday, November 26th, in the gymnasium at 9:05 a.m. This event recognizes our students' grandparents for all of their love and support and invites them to spend some time with their grandchild at school.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF ALL 7th GRADE STUDENTS: Beginning June 30, 2008, all children who are least 10 years of age or are entering the 7th grade must be vaccinated against Bordetella Pertussis (whooping cough). THIS IS A NEW VACCINE called Tdap. Your child does not require the shot if he/she has had a Tetanus vaccine less than 5 years ago or has a religious or medical exemption. If your child does not receive the required Tdap shot, he/she will NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND SCHOOL. Please be sure to have your child immunized before the start of the 2008/2009 school year. Please bring all immunization records to Del Webb Middle School to avoid disruption of your child's education. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
