The Inspiration Awards is collaboration between Nevada PIE and The Public Education Foundation. The Inspiration Awards offers the opportunity to applaud educators who have achieved excellence in public education and who strive to improve our community, one student at a time.
The program culminates each year with a community-wide event to honor educators and share best practices.

ALL public schools in Clark County have been invited to participate. After staff surveys and administrative team assessments, an independent audit committee visits schools to determine their progress toward meeting seven Standards of Excellence, including:

• Responsive staffing and scheduling
  
• Collaborative teams
  
• Accountability for results
  
• Social opportunities and relationships
  
• Legislative standards
  
• Leadership for the common good.
