Attention Parents and Guardians,

Due to the increased parental interest in Cheyenne High School adopting a Standard Student Attire policy for the 2006-2007 school year, we are implementing a Standard Student Attire Committee to investigate this as a possibility. This committee will meet regularly to begin the collaboration process necessary to potentially adopt a mandatory Standard Student Attire policy for the 2006-2007 school year. Should you wish to be a committee member, please call my office at 799-4830 so that you can find out when our next meeting date is scheduled. Also, please find available the following link that can answer numerous questions relative to this process at Cheyenne High School: http://www.google.com/u/ccsdnet?q=Standard+Student+Attire

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO PARENTS!

We have a lot of returned mail! If you have moved, it is important that you inform the school immediately. You will not receive information regarding your child’s absences, grades, failing notices, RPC’s, etc.  We must have correct addresses and telephone numbers in case of a medical emergency. If mail is returned to Cheyenne, it will be held at the school until we receive the correct address from you. If you have notified the post office of a change of address and mail is returned to school with a yellow sticker, it will be forwarded to your new address.

Notice to Parents and Students:

Cheyenne High School will NOT accept deliveries of any kind for students. This includes flowers and balloons. These are considered nuisance in the classrooms and hallways. No messages will be taken and delivered to students. We will not interrupt the classroom instruction time to deliver items or call students to the office to pick up any deliveries.

The school receptionist is here to provide information and directions and cannot spend time delivering items to students. Cheyenne High School personnel can not be held liable/responsible for personal belongings dropped off each day. High school students should be at an age where they are quite capable of remembering the items necessary to accomplish the tasks required each day.

We are making every attempt to maintain an educational environment and we appreciate your cooperation.
