Millenium Scholarship

The Millennium Scholarship initiative was enacted into law by Kenny Guinn and the Nevada Legislature in 1999.  The scholarship is for Nevada high school students who plan on attending a college or university in state.  Students may recieve up to a maximum award of $10,000 within six years following graduation. There is NO application to complete.  If you meet all requirements upon high school graduation, the school will submit your name to the Office of the State Treasurer.  You will receive award notification in the summer after your graduation.   The 2007-2008 graduates will need a 3.25 grade point average to qualify.  Additionally, all areas of the NHSPE must be passed, and you must have been a resident of the state of Nevada for at least two of your high school years as defined by the Board of Regents’ policy.
