Mission Statement

Working together, the Northeast Region community empowers each student to learn, master academic and social standards, graduate, and become a responsible member of a diverse society.

Vision

The Northeast Region is an academic, achievement-oriented educational community where each student is valued and has equal access to the curriculum, resulting in graduation. There is ownership and accountability of all staff for the academic and social achievement of each student.

Northeast Region Accountability Report

Accountability reports contain detailed information about schools in the Clark County School District, as well as charter schools. Annual reports are prepared in compliance with the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) and Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 385. Accountability reports are used by teachers and administrators as they develop academic plans to increase achievement of all students.

Parent/Community Connection Team Meeting

The Northeast Region is committed to providing opportunities for parents to be heard. The Parent/Community Connection Team (PCCT), is a group of parents identified to serve on the committee by school and region personnel, meet throughout the year to provide input, and engage in open discussion regarding issues related to schools in the Northeast Region. Please mark your calendars for future Parent Community/Connection (PCCT) Meetings.

Region Covenant

Climate: The Northeast Region is committed to fostering a positive climate within every school and office located in the region. We accomplish this through our customer service philosophy

Academics: The Northeast Region focuses on academics through the implementation of literacy, math and science expectations.

Participation: The Northeast Region strives to increase parent involvement at both the school and region level by offering a variety of committees as well as other opportunities for parents to get involved.

Northeast Region Open Enrollment Pilot Program

Applications for the Northeast Region Public School Open Enrollment Pilot Program need to be submitted to the school of choice no later than Friday, March 14, 2008, in order to be considered.

Northeast Region Customer Service Philosophy

We believe that communication with students, staff, parents and the community is key to success. Students, parents, and staff must feel valued, safe, and accepted at school. We must continue to increase communication with all stakeholders. Northeast Region Schools continue to make positive strides in this area.
