The next School Matters will air Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. on Vegas PBS, Ch. 10. Hosted by Nate Tannenbaum, the show will feature a panel comprised of Trustee Dr. Linda E. Young, Trustee Chris Garvey, Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky and Chief Student Achievement Officer Dr. Mike Barton. The half-hour program will focus primarily on AB394, which involves developing a plan to reorganize the Clark County School District.
Airing several times a year, "School Matters" represents the CCSD Board of Trustees' ongoing commitment to share important information about education and other school-related topics with members of the community. The program also is part of the board's community linkage activities, in which the board engages directly with parents, business representatives, district staff and other community members.
