Tiger cub's name to be announced at Mirage July 23

CCSD elementary schools on year-round schedules were recently invited to participate in the "Name the Striped White Tiger Cub" contest sponsored by Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage. Two separate classrooms -- from Charlotte Hill & William Moore elementary schools -- submitted the winning entry. They will be honored, and the cub's name will be unveiled, during a ceremony at the Mirage July 23 from 9:30 to noon.
