Are you a vendor who would like to simultaneously support the CCSLA and spread the word about your product or service to school librarians? The Clark County School District has over 300 school libraries and they can all be reached through the Clark County School Librarians Association. There are many ways that vendors can be involved in our organization.
The Vendor FairThe vendor fair is an annual event that directly connects what vendors do with school librarians. Instead of contacting librarians individually (which can be time consuming and annoying to library media specialists), this is a chance to share your product or service with hundreds of potential clients. The event is typically held in a local casino's meeting room. The essence of the event is that vendors rent tables and share their talents as librarians circulate around the room. Here is information on 2008's event. what: CCSLA Vendor Fairdate: February 19, 2008 time: 4:00-6:00 p.m. where: Palace Station Casino The event is organized by Michele Lee who can be directly contacted at mlee@interact.ccsd.net. |
