The New Teacher Induction Program offers additional support to new teachers.
Teacher Mentoring
The T.E.A.M. Program is designed to provide support to new teachers at the school level. Each school has an identified T.E.A.M. Mentor Facilitator. This T.E.A.M. Mentor Facilitator coordinates the mentoring efforts at each school. On-site mentors are available to assist new teachers in becoming acclimated to their school and to the teaching profession. The mentors also act as a link between the District level program and the school program.
Individual Assistance
New teachers may initiate a request for assistance from the Teacher Induction and Mentoring Department. A Project Facilitator may provide assistance to include demonstration lessons, classroom management techniques, effective teaching strategies, or other resources pertinent to an individual teacher’s needs.
