Adult Education in the Clark County School District is designed to serve adults and out of school youths 17 years of age or older who desire to earn a high school diploma or GED(certificate of General Education Development). At 16 years of age out of school youth may only take the GED with permission, as per CCSD Regulation 5128. Adult Education serves students enrolled in regular day schools who need to make up a number of deficient high school credits.
