Teacher Development Department
The goal of the Teacher Development Department is to increase student achievement by supporting teachers in their development as professional educators, directly related to District goals and the No Child Left Behind Act.
The Teacher Development Department believes that supporting successful teachers’ practices involves:
- induction
- mentoring
- teacher collaboration
- participation in professional development
- guided reflection
- administrative support
Effective teachers are the single most important factor in promoting student achievement.
