Student Maria Navarro wins new car in "Drive for Excellence" program
Sierra Vista High School student Maria Navarro won a brand new MINI Cooper automobile on June 7, 2012, as part of the Clark County School District’s "Drive for Excellence" program. She was among 600 students invited to take part in the annual event. As reported by KSNV-TV, all the students had GPA’s of at least 3.7 and no unexcused absences. The event was organized by CCSD's School District Community Partnership office.
