Congratulations to local Gates Millennium Scholarship recipients

Seven local high school graduates are recipients of the Gates Millennium Scholarship, a full-ride scholarship for any college, regardless of the tuition rate. Only 1,000 students nationwide receive the scholarship.  As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the CCSD winners are:

• Yared Assefa, Rancho HS
• Daniel Dominguez, LVA
• Fernando Rocha, Canyon Springs HS
• Martin Torres, Rancho HS
• Brittany Davis, Sunrise Mountain HS
