CCSD spokesperson discusses "Reclaim Your Future"

CCSD’s chief communications officer says many times, students who don’t attend school “just need a caring adult to come in their life” and explain the value of education.  In an interview with KTNV-TV, Amanda Fulkerson said, "These kids are smart, they can do it, but for one reason or another they are not coming to class." The district will reprise its “Reclaim Your Future” campaign on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, with volunteers going door to door to meet with students from 16 CCSD high schools.
