Parents urged to complete their children's back-to-school vaccinations soon

Nevada health officials are urging parents to get their students vaccinated prior to the start of the 2015-16 school year, in part because of the long lines that families can face as the start of school draws nearer. According to KTNV-TV, “Kids entering kindergarten classes are required to get hepatitis, chicken pox and polio. Other vaccinations, depending on grade level, include diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) and measles, mumps and rubella.”
