230+ volunteers take part in 9/22/12 Reclaim Your Future community walk

CCSD Trustee René Cantú, Superintendent Dwight D. Jones and others joined with volunteers from the community to knock on doors and encourage students to return to to the classroom and take charge of their futures. More than 230 volunteers joined the superintendent in the Reclaim Your Future community walk on Sept. 22, 2012. Volunteers engaged in face-to-face conversations with 148 students, family members and roommates to provide options for graduation and increased school attendance.
