Communities In Schools of Nevada expands CIS Academy program in Nevada High Schools

AT&T presented a check for $178,000 to Communities In Schools of Nevada (CISN) on Sept. 11, 2012, as a part of the AT&T Aspire program. CISN will use the contribution to grow the CIS Academy at Canyon Springs High School in Las Vegas and at Spring Creek High School in Elko. At a press event at Canyon Springs High School, CISN accepted the contribution and announced student improvement results that have contributed to their 94 percent graduation rate. Pictured is CCSD Superintendent Dwight D. Jones, speaking on the seamless partnership between the district and CISN.
