Three CCSD employees honored at Cesar Chavez Awards Banquet
Three CCSD employees were honored on March 31, 2012, at the annual Cesar Chavez Awards Banquet for their years of community service and dedication to equity for all individuals. The banquet, in honor of the late Cesar Chavez, activist and civil rights leader of farmworkers, was held at the Old Fourth Street School in Las Vegas. The honorees were Rancho High School adult education teacher Isaac Barron, CCSD Diversity and Affirmative Action Programs Executive Manager Tom Rodriguez, and Quannah McCall Empowerment Elementary School Principal Dr. Maria Chairez.
