The Clark County School District Police Department wrapped up its 2014-15 community Pill Take Back program with a great response to its event held at Palo Verde High School on June 20. The department collected 659 pounds of expired or unneeded medications that will now be disposed of properly. For the 2014-15 school year, the police department collected 3,000 pounds of medications. The police department strives to hold a collection each month, with the locations being varied to allow for greater participation.
