Health district warns of rise in influenza cases

Southern Nevada is now experiencing moderate influenza activity, but according to the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD),  cases are expected to increase in the local area. Influenza season typically peaks in Southern Nevada in January or February and the SNHD says an influenza immunization is the best method to prevent illness.
