CCSD takes part in "Batteries Included" program

Residents of all ages are invited to “Souper” Summer Family Swim Days in July and August 2012 at three city of Las Vegas pools. In conjunction with the “Batteries Included” Summer Circuit teen councils, swimmers are asked to bring two cans of soup or other canned food per person for admission. The canned goods will be donated to a local food bank. The Batteries Included Youth Initiative is a collaboration among the city of Las Vegas, the Clark County School District and Nevada Partners.
