35,000 people expected to watch Summerlin parade

Area families are invited to the 18th annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade, set for 9-11 a.m. on July 4, 2012. The parade will start at the corner of Hillpointe Road and Hills Center Drive. This year's parade will feature more than 60 entries, including floats, performing groups and storybook characters, plus the marching bands from Rancho and Palo Verde High Schools.
