Attached below is information about the statewide K-12 budget, along with some general, CCSD budget-related information concerning administrative positions and salaries, revenues and expenditures per student, and land inventory. This document includes the Nevada Department of Education's presentation about the statewide K-12 school system budget for the upcoming biennium, as given to the Legislative Commission's Budget Subcommittee on January 27, 2009.
Budget Cuts Summary

Attached below is information about the current status of cuts to the Clark County School District’s budget, which have been mandated by the State of Nevada. This includes a summary of the $133 million that has already been cut from the budget for the 2008-2009 school year, as well as a summary of the $120 million in cuts that have been identified for the budget for the 2009-2010 school year.

To comply with the State’s mandated budget cuts, the CCSD Board of Trustees recently reviewed the budget recommendations they received from the Superintendent regarding budget reductions. The proposal will serve as a framework to begin the budget development process for the 2009-2010 school year.
