The Clark County School District K-5 social studies curriculum consists of content from civics, economics, geography, and history. Social studies experiences are integrated across content areas. Students need to develop a perspective on history as it relates to them, a feeling of location, and a view of citizenship as a personal right and responsibility in order to function in an increasingly more complex world.
