Free & Reduced Online Application

Applications now available online

Some Clark County School District students may be eligible for free or reduced price meals depending on family size and income as part of the National School Lunch/Breakfast Program which provides nutritious meals every school day for eligible students at participating elementary, middle/junior high, and high schools. The Federal Income & Eligibility Table determines whether your child(ren) qualify for free or reduced price meals.

Application for meal benefits must be completed each school year, only one application is needed per household. Processing of an application takes 7-10 operating days. We encourage you to apply online at www.applyforlunch.com as this option is exceptionally user friendly and reduces processing time. Applications are processed in the main Food Service office and benefits begin once eligibility has been determined.

Clark County School District Food Service officials will be attending the Annual Back-to-School Fairs held at local malls in August to provide assistance with the meal benefit application process, online (with kiosk machines which will be provided) as well as paper applications, see schedule and locations below:

Downtown Summerlin Mall      Saturday, August 1, 2015          8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m Meadows Mall                            Saturday, August 8, 2015          10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Boulevard Mall                           Saturday, August 15, 2015        10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Galleria Mall                              Saturday, August 22, 2015        10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Students who qualified for the program at the end of last school year maintain last year's eligibility through October 6, 2015. You must submit a 2015-2016 meal benefit application, unless you received a status notification letter (dated within the 2015-2016 school year) from the CCSD Food Service Department confirming eligibility for your child. We strongly encourage you to submit your meal benefit application as soon as possible, no later than September 20, 2015 to allow ample time for processing. If we do not receive a 2015-2016 meal benefit application to determine eligibility you will be required to pay full price for meals.

If you need further assistance or have additional questions regarding the meal benefit application process call the Free and Reduced Department at 1-800-819-7556.
