Our Mission
The mission of the Research Department is to conduct research and provide objective analyses on educational practices, programs, and initiatives for the purpose of effective decision-making.
The Research unit engages in activities designed to promote the development and implementation of targeted research and evaluation projects. We facilitate the use of research findings as a basis for curricular, instructional, management, and leadership decisions. Additionally, we coordinate research efforts from universities, research institutions and individuals wishing to conduct studies within the District. The Research unit also supports CCSD's commitment to building teacher leaders through our Best Practices Action Research Project.
