The mission of the New Teacher Induction Program is to increase student achievement by supporting teachers, new to the Clark County School District, in their development as professional educators.

• We support new teachers by providing the following publications:  Great Beginnings, Tips for Teachers Calendar & the New Teacher Newsletter.
• We provide opportunities for new teachers to make a smooth transition into the community by hosting the New Teacher Welcome Center and Get to Know Your Community Day.
• We offer professional development designed to strengthen the new teacher’s classroom management skills and instructional delivery.  These opportunities include: New Teacher Orientation, Post-Hire New Teacher Orientation, ongoing Modules and professional conferences.  All training sessions are based on the CCSD Professional Domains and Standards for teachers.
• Other support includes onsite mentoring and individual assistance upon request.
