Sun Youth Forum

The Sun Youth Forum is the longest running student activity in the Clark County School District. Former members include the Senior Senator from Nevada, the Honorable Harry Reid. This student-centered activity is hosted by the Las Vegas Sun and the Greenspun Foundation. Students are selected by their social studies teachers and discuss topics ranging from Home in Nevada to Teen Topics. At the conference, students have an opportunity to discuss their ideas and problems with members from the community. Moderators have included Senator John Ensign, Mayor Oscar Goodman, and Congresswoman Shelly Berkley. By the end of the day, students and moderators are energized by the sharing of information.

We The People - Review Activities

Students created exam review games. These games help the students learn and understand material in Mrs. Weber's U.S. Government class at Chaparral High School.
