Grades K-5 Beyond the Classroom
  • Enjoy the southern Nevada spring weather and go for a walk.  Look for new plants and new buds on plants.  Notice where the new plants are growing. 
  • Plant a small garden.  Tomatoes, peppers, cantaloupe, and watermelon can all be grown easily in southern Nevada.
  • If you are ready for an adventure, pack a picnic and head for Red Rock (west) or Valley of Fire (east).
